Felix Römer

Studied acting in Vienna. Engagements at the Burgtheater Vienna, Schauspielhaus Graz, Theater Krefeld, Staatstheater Saarbrücken, Staatstheater Kassel, Theater Dortmund, among others. Felix Römer was a member of the Berliner Schaubühne theatre ensemble from 2002 to 2020.

He realised stage productions with directors such as Augosto Boal, Luc Perceval, Thomas Ostermeier, Volker Lösch, Michael Thalheimer, Tom Kühnel, Katie Mitchell, Milo Rau and Philipp Preuss.

He also worked on films with Christoph Hochhäusler, Marvin Kren, Christian Petzold, Raymond Ley, Terence Malick, David Schalko and Mareike Wegener, among others.

Felix Römer also wrote his own plays: World premieres of "Servus Mama" (directed by Gerhard Weber, Theater Krefeld, 1990), "Bibione" (directed by Eberhard Köhler, Staatstheater Saarbrücken, 1992), "Guglhupf" (directed by Matthias Frank, Theater Dortmund, 2008) and "Im Herbst" (directed by Stefan Suske, Effinger Theater Bern, 2009).
