Felix Axel Preißler

was born in Heidelberg in 1984 and grew up in the Pfalz on the southern wine route. He is an actor and arborist.

From 2013 to 2020 he was a permanent member of the ensemble at Schauspiel Leipzig and since the 2020/21 season he has been at home both independently and in the trees.

A close artistic collaboration connects Felix Axel Preißler with the director Philipp Preuss and his team. A total of 8 productions appeared at Schauspiel Leipzig - including "Peer Gynt", "Gespenster oder Die Denkwürdigkeiten eines Nervenkranken" or "Prinz Friedrich von Homburg".

At the Bayreuth Festival in 2019, they managed to premiere "Siegfried", which was the first ever play in the framework of this festival.

The last production "Hamlet" at the Anhaltinisches Theater Dessau was invited to the Berlin Theatertreffen 2023.

In the season 23/24 Felix Axel Preißler will be seen at the Theater an der Ruhr in "The Bacchae" as Dionysus.
