Subbotnik

Kornelius Heidebrecht was born in 1979 in Alma-Ata, Kazakhstan, and grew up in Belarus and Germany. From 2002 he studied sound and image technology at the Robert Schumann University of Music Düsseldorf. Since 2008 he has been working as a composer and sound designer for plays and dance, as a stage musician and as a live performer. He has composed for the Schauspielhaus Zurich, the Deutsches Theater Berlin and the Schauspiel Frankfurt, among others, as well as for independent theatres, including Ringlokschuppen Mülheim/Ruhr, Sophiensaele Berlin and FFT Düsseldorf.

Oleg Zhukov was born in Odessa, Ukraine in 1980. Since 2003 he has lived and worked as an actor / director and author in NRW. His theatre engagements have taken him to Theater Oberhausen, Theater Bonn, Schauspiel Köln and independent theatres including Hebbel am Ufer Berlin, Sophiensaele Berlin and FFT Düsseldorf. He has worked with Raumlabor Berlin, Rimini Protokoll and Michikatzu Matsune, among others. Winner of the Viersen Art Prize, Literature Competition 2008, main prize for the text "Lustdorf 1992" and LCB Berlin scholarship holder 2012. For four years he has been developing participatory projects with the participation of young people at the FFT Düsseldorf together with the chorographer Stefanie Elbers.
