what i miss from here now

In their current project, the RUHRORTER group looks back on ten years of artistic work on the topics of migration, flight, administration and law - and at the same time looks forward from the past to desires, visions and utopias of living together. Under the title SPUREN, the project combines elements of theater, film, radio play and installation to bring to light the post-migrant realities in Mülheim an der Ruhr and to explore the possibilities of shaping them together. SPUREN invites you to visit various sound, show and language spaces in Georgstraße at an intersection of installation and archive, where times and places intersect. Images, motifs, themes and scenes from RUHRORTER's ten-year history reassemble here, make contact with each other and invite visitors* to stay and exchange ideas. In the course of the evening, there will also be the opportunity to rediscover Mülheim's city center on an audio walk. Accompanied by the voices, perceptions and experiences of former actors and interlocutors of the group, the experience of a public space shifts, through which we move together with altered attention.
