Mario is a waiter in a hotel in a vacation resort on the coast.
He experiences personal humiliation.
The social tone changes: the national is emphasized, xenophobia increases, tensions are felt.
That's when the magician Cipolla appears.
Individuals are exposed in his show.
Cipolla also makes Mario the target of his power.

After reading the text, Lab 3 saw strong references to today's social changes.
