Illusionen - Eine magische Entzauberung

Concealing the secrets behind the tricks and illusions is part of the essence of magic. Making it possible to experience a trick as an illusion without disappointing requires the paradoxical combination of truth and lies, of reality and deception. The deceptions that we as the audience are subjected to are always also reflections of the deception itself. They play with our perceptions of reality and give us an idea of the dazzling worlds that remain hidden from us in everyday life. In his lecture performance, Manuel Muerte quotes excerpts from his shows, reveals tricks and hidden facts from the history of magic, reinterprets them and ultimately leads us back into the light. In the end, only one certainty remains: we cannot escape the manipulation of our perception.
