Ensemble Olivinn

The Ensemble Olivinn stands for a musical tightrope walk between traditional Turkish and Anatolian folk songs,
European-classical and contemporary influences and improvisations. The "voice" of Olivinn is Begüm Tüzemen, who gives the songs heart and radiance with her multi-faceted, warm mezzo voice. The two women are accompanied by the multi-instrumentalist Özgür Ersoy (Bağlama, Mey and Duduk) from Eastern Anatolia and the Berlin percussionist Axel Meier.
