Staying in dialog, but how…
...... On and off stage?
A discussion with Abdul Kader Chahin
With the terrorist attack on 7 October 2023, Hamas committed the most serious attack against Jewish life since the Shoah. Since the attack, anti-Semitic incidents have also become more frequent in Germany. The Ringlokschuppen, the Theater an der Ruhr, the Makroscope and the KGI theatre collective, all very different places and groups in the Mülheim cultural scene, are addressing this issue and inviting you to lectures and discussions.
We invite the people of Mülheim to enter into dialogue with us and the respective guests.
“Staying in dialog, but how?”
Ringlokschuppen Ruhr
The fight against anti-Semitism and racism must be considered together - despite all differences and because of all similarities!
Based on the outbreak of war in Israel and Gaza following October 7, 2023, we invite people to a discussion whose work, actions and projects promote a solidary understanding between the Palestine/Israel oppositions, as courageous and idealistic counter-examples to the irreconcilable reality, as hopeful “it-could-also-be-different”. From educational projects to explicit criticism of hatred and oppression, we think together what cannot yet go together.
