Weekend at the theater

On our theater weekend, we first jump onto the stage and then back into the auditorium. In this way, we experience theater from two different perspectives. Once from the perspective of the actors and once as the audience:

Two perspectives that are essential for a performance.

On Saturday, the participants will try out their own skills on the studio stage at the Theater an der Ruhr. Using improvisational theater techniques, we will develop short scenes and stand in the spotlight ourselves.

On Sunday, the participants meet in the VolxBühne of the Theater an der Ruhr and watch the play “Die Bestimmer” together. After the performance, there will be enough time to discover the professional stage and talk to the actors about the play.
